prevent automatic redirection based on IP address

I live in Japan but don't read Japanese. When I browse to
Microsoft in particular, my broswer is redirected to the
Japanese website. I have deleted cookies and changed the
security settings to no avail. This is locking me out of
Micosoft services!

How can I set up Internet Explorer to prevent this? Or
will MS cease presuming that everybody located in a
country is a native speaker?
