Prevent Access from creating double quotes in tab-delimited files

Every time I export my Access query to a Tab delimited file, it creates
invisible double quotes (") in two fields. They are both Memo fields because
the text is long. I don't see the double quotes in Excel but I know they are
added when I upload them to an online shopping cart. How can I prevent Access
from doing this?

It sounds as if you may have specified " as the text qualifier in your
import/export specification.

If that's not the answer, please can you explain just what you mean by
"invisible double quotes". Are they quote characters " or pairs of
apostrophes '' ? Do they appear at the beginning and end of these memo
fields, or in the middle?
