Prevent a Worksheet from being deleted

Is it possible to prevent a worksheet from being deleted via VB or prevent
the worksheet from being shown in the tabs?

If you hide the sheet it wont show up on the tab.

hi
the best suggestion i can give is to protect the sheet. this will prevent
deletion.
on the menu bar....tools>protection>protect sheet
you can then hide the sheet to prevent the tab from showing.
on the menu bar....format>sheet>hide.
but this steps may not fool an advance user. and as to the password, there
are many third party macros that will crack excel passwords. so there is no
fool proof way to do as you want.

The worksheet needs to be displayed - but not able the worksheet to be
removed.
