preserve old email addies & messages?

Hi all,
I'm currently using the Outlook Express that came with my
computer and I'm afraid to install the complete Microsoft
Office 2000 because I'm worried that all my addresses and
email messages will be deleted when the new Outlook
Express gets installed. Is there something built into
the installation wizard that lets me choose to keep my old
data? or does it get overwritten? and if it gets
overwritten, is there a way I can save the info somewhere
else and transfer it back into the new Outlook Express?

Outlook is not the "full version" of Outlook Express. The two programs are
in no way related.
