"Preparing to Install..." Message Starting Word

Everytime I bring up word or any other office product..I
get that "Preparing to Install..." message for about 15
seconds..then i get the program...I have activated office
with ms....what is word intalling...? happens every time..

I had a precious instal of windows and office...theat
version got corrupted...so i reintalled win 2000 os...and
then reinstalled office....

so yes

Post in the microsoft.public.word.application.errors or the
microsoft.public.word.setup.networking NG; there you may find someone more
knowledgeable about this issue.
