Preformance Problem

Hello there

I have access application in:

Back end: mdb file

Front: mde file on each computer on the network

If on one of the computer i open some form

All the preformance on the other computers are realy bad!!

Approximitly 15 seconds to load each form

Does anyone can know the reason for this?

On the perent form there are a lot of controls: combo, text and subforms

What can cause this problem?

any help would be useful

The #1 fix is to force, or keep the connection opened to the back end at all
times.

Give the above a try, as it usually restores performance back to un-split,
local pc levels.
