Preferred Domain Controller for WinXP ?

IS there a way to automatically set in a script a preferred PDC or BDC login
for a workstation?

For example, i have 3 domain controllers(PDC1, BDC1, BDC2)
Can I set my Windows XP workstation to choose BDC1 all the time?

I heard in Windows NT there was a utility called setprfdc(sic?) that can do
this. Does something similar exist for XP?

Hi, Mark -

setprfdc came out with NT4SP4 and only worked until you
rebooted unless you did a bit of trickery with srvany.exe
to run it as a service. I have no idea whether it'll run
under Windows XP - maybe someone else knows.
