The quote below is from a Microsoft Knowledge base
article (289022) which pertaines to modifiying the
subject. Correct me if I'm wrong but I get the feeling
that ever though they suggest that one could use
the "statup and recovery" dialog to modify the subject,
it would probably be better to use the "comand line
utility, Bootcfg.exe". If I'm correct in my assumption
could anybody explain why this so? Again I'm new.

and Recovery dialog, where you can select the default
operating system, change the timeout value, or manually
edit the file, the following method uses the command line
utility, Bootcfg.exe".

PS If one should be so unfortunet as to need the backup
copy of Boot.ini how would one retrieve it?
