PRE TAG info on html page

After an install of SP3, it was report that the information between the <PRE>
</PRE> tags was not visible in the Explorer. They were visible when viewing
source, but did not present on the page. Any thoughts?

I just edited my web page and put
<PRE>
this is preformatted
test
</pre>
in it and I had no issue viewing it both in IE or Firefox.

Not sure if this helps. I'm running SP3 of course on MCE 2005.
