Hi all, questions about the GP-implemented pre-login
message box. Well, first off, its a great big box, but it
only appears to accept 1 1/2 lines of text - am I doing
something wrong?

Second, is there any way to format the text that goes in
the box? By default, the text is showing up as size 8
Arial (I think it's Arial) and positioned at the very top
of the box. The subsequent second line wraps from the
first line - are there formatting characters that can be
used (vbCr, vbCrLf, etc..) to create spaces, carriage
returns, etc..?

I went to MEC 2002 and saw the this message box being
used - I thought that there was a lot more that you could
do with it...can anyone help me out here?

Thanks as always

There are a few tricks. First, use quotation marks when specifying the
message in GPO. Second, do not use punctuation - else your message will be
truncated at first punctuation char. Formatting is not available, and exact
font settings are defined by local computer's settings. The message is
somewhat limited in size.

About 50% of the stuff mentioned above may be not true, but at least I found
it to be so, and I'd be happy to be wrong and learn.
