Pre-compile?

What are some strategies for pre-compiling. I don't want to manually open
each page after making modifications and placing them into production, and
don't want my users to deal with the performance hit if they are the first
to visit a modified page.

yeah, I wasn't trying to hone in just on my response there, linking to
Google Groups is tricky as I had to do a search, and their URLs are a
little cumbersome to 'trim the fat' on....
