.ppz extension

I sent a copy of a powerpoint presentation via email
with "pack-n-go". My hard drive crashed so I tried to
retrieve the file from computer I had sent it to. The
file now has a ".ppz" extension and my powerpoint program
(running in Windows XP Pro) cannot open file with .ppz
extension. What can I do to open and save this file?

Pack and Go also provides an PNGSETUP.EXE file that will unpack the .PPZ file.
Do you still have it? If not, you can create a one slide presentation. The
slide doesn't even need to contain anything. Use Pack and Go to pack it to a
new folder. Then use the PNGSETUP.EXE file created. Copy and paste it to the
location of the PRES0.PPZ that you salvaged and run it. It will unpack your
presentation so that you can open it in PowerPoint.

When you created your pack and go presentation. It also created a file called
Pngsetup.exe, which is the file you need to extract the presentation file from
the .ppz file
