No use to me.What is needed is a way to open a drop down menu in which PPS is
a selection.When I try to open it gives just one "choice" Notepad.

Save an attachment to your HDD. Right click on it and Open With | Choose
Program. Choose PowerPoint Viewer and then check the box: Always use this
program to open this kind of file. This should enable you to open these
attachments in the future.

You still may need this fix.
