PPT File not opening

Hi,
I have a problem in PPT file downloaded from our intranet site. After
downloading the file when try to open it is showing that "You are attempting
to open a file type that is blocked by your registry policy setting". Where
as other users are able to open the same file in their PC.

What version of PowerPoint are you using

SP3 in 2003 (and maybe XP) blocks certain files from earlier versions.
PowerPoint 2007 always blocks them. You can unblock them in versions before
2007 by downloading a registry patch from Microsoft.
