PPT 2007: Duplicate Layouts and Open With Issues

Is it possible to take a Master layout view (for example Title and Content) and make another exact duplicate of it so that you can just make a slight change, like add or delete a logo?

I can't even figure out how to do it in Slide view like you could do in PPT 2003. I know I could do it in Slide Sorter view but loved the fact that all I had to do in PPT 03 Slide View was choose Insert Duplicate Slide.

Also ... I am currently Beta testing PPT 07 but still require all my work to be done in PPT 2003 so I have both on my system each in their own folder. When I doubleclick on a PPT 03 file, it automatically opens in PPT 07. I've tried using Open With PPT 03 (and check Always) but it still opens every time in PPT 2007. Any suggestions?
