ppt 2003 goes to end after 26 slides

I have xp prof 5.1.2600 spe bld 2600, ppt 2003 v.11 bld 8135. I have been
running this prog for at least 2 years and no problems. I up date slides as
new info is available, but it has never gone 26 slides (I currently have 545
slides for a 14 hour class) and then went to the black slide at the end.
What causess this so I can de-select that trigger?

Two things to check:

Go to the Slide Show Menu and choose Set Up Show. There is a choice for
which slides to run. Make sure it is not choosing to run slides 1 to 26.

Check to make sure that the slides after slide 26 are not hidden.

Thank you David, I changed to "all" and that took care of the problem. I
closed and reopened and it switched back. I will know how to fix it next
time I have a class. Thank you again.

Well, at least we solved your problem, but you are still left with an
annoyance. When you changed it, did you make any other changes and then
save it? I have noticed that occasionally there is a feature that
doesn't set the dirty bit, so PowerPoint doesn't recognize that a change
has been made, and then doesn't save that change if that is the only
thing. I don't know if this is one of those cases, but it is worth a try
to change something else after changing to All (like some text in a text
box) and then save.
