PPT 2000 - subtitle for master layout

I am creating a template in PowerPoint 2000 for others in
the company to use. I want to create a subtitle area on
the master layout. Is this possible? I know i can use
the options for Title, Text, Date, Slide number, and
Footer. Is there anyway i can create a Subtitle in the
master layout?

Unfortunately you can't add placeholders, so you're limited to what you see.
