PPC BCM doesn't show caller ID names anymore

I sync'd my Outlook BCM with PPC BCM .. went very smooth.

Except...... when a business contact calls, IT DOESN'T SHOW THEIR NAME! Just
the number, is there a way to make it show who is calling?

David,

Welcome to the wonderful world of "seamless integration" as defined and
developed by MS! I hate to sound negative but this is probably a design
"oversight." It took almost 3 years for MS to finally get around to creating
a PPC BCM which arrived with the BCM version 2 release last year. It may
likely take another 3 years before some designer notices and prioritizes your
concern to be changed and improved upon with a possible future release. In
the meantime, you may consider checking out a 3rd party alternative called
Pocket Mirror Professional made by an Atlanta company named Chapura.
www.chapura.com. Chapura does an excellent job designing their synching
products for both WM and Palm OS.

Best wishes,

I am new to Outlook and just trying BCM. It feels like the Office2007 BCM is
playing catch-up with ACT from the days when I was selling in 1998. I don't
think MS invited anyone in from the world of sales and certainly didn't plan
to have this convert too many people away from ACT, Goldmine, etc.

Oh well... I teach elementary now and just want to have the communications,
forms, other activities track through and reportable. My pda isn't a phone.
Boy, I'd be pretty steamed if I was expecting this to speed the sales process.

I hope I can share ideas and questions with other users here and learn.

Welcome Jonathan,

Amen to your sales process comments. Your real world perspective will be
