PP won't READ DVD file

HELP! Trying to do a presentation for work in which a slide of my
presentation will play a few clips from my agency's video. I had the VHS
video converted to a CDT DVD file. But PPnt or Producer won't read it.

What can I do now(Without purchasing any other programs or equipment)?

Go back to your original videos you used to create the DVD and insert them.
