PP: Making Web-Page RSS Enabled

Hi All

Can somebody please point me to some information on "How to make site
RSS Enabled", I mean what all things I need to do to make it happen

2 steps:
1) Have at least one RSS feed (that's an XML document). It can be generated
dynamically from a database or in other ways.
2) Place the proper directives in your page and an optional "RSS Icon"
pointing to the RSS document.
