PP 2003 blank slides

I have just bought a new computer with PP 2003 (Win XP
Pro). When I try to open up some old presentations that
work fine in either Office 98/ win 98 or Office 2000 /
Win ME, I get some blank slides - ie background colour
only with no text or graphics. I'm not sure if all of
these problems are with presebtations originally created
with Far East fonts - but in any case all text etc is
English and they work fine in the older versions of PP -
Any Ideas?

Echo S

Go to Help/Check for Updates and install the critical patch. That usually
resolves these issues.
