PP 2000 More than one footer?

I have a presentation which will require 4 separate title
slides in it. On each title slide I want to start a new
footer for the slides behind it. The new footer will
restart the slide number and the new title. Is there an
easier way to do this rather than creating a new text box
with the information in it?

Consider this: Break the presentation into 4 separate files and use a menu
slide to run them. See Taj's tutorial:

I guess you could keep your presentations are separate then just link them together.
That way you can number all your slides from 1 and have a different footer on each presentation

It also helps keep things more manageable.
