Powers supply

IMO, your obsession with arguing that 'suggesting' one get a PSU that
likely won't fit in the case is 'essentially correct' fits the 'anal
retentive' bill to a T.

The OP's question was regarding power. The answer was regarding power.
Your opinion that the 300w won't fit his case is just that: YOUR opinion,
based on ZERO information. I've seen 150w PSUs that were ATX, and 150w
PSUs that were SFX. So, physical size wasn't addresses by the OP, in his
original question or a follow-up. Looks to me as if it was a non issue.

The OP didn't know someone was going to 'suggest' a PSU that might not fit
the hole and, regardless, for you to suggest that if the original poster
didn't know to also ask about the size of the thing that it therefore
doesn't 'matter' is patently absurd.

All I said was it's possible that's a small form factor machine, because of
the 150 watter clue, and, if it is, a PSU that doesn't fit in the hole is
not a good idea regardless of the 'power' it has.

It's YOU who wanted to make that simple truth an 'issue'.

And you were *so* concerned that he get the right size that you neglected
to describe the differences in size between SFX and ATX, nor did you
bother to give the dimensions of the two form factor or give a URL where
the dimensions or mounting hole pattern was given, even when asked to do
so.

Yeah, you were *real* concerned that he would get the wrong size.

I raised the issue for him to check, a heck of a lot more than you bothered
with, but there's no way for me to know which specific PSU he has and
describing 'this one' or 'that one' wouldn't help if it was a proprietary.
Yeah, you were *real* concerned that he would get the wrong size.

Correct.

So to you, posting URLs is considered "bitching effort." Explains much.

No, to me the time spent bitching is bitching effort.
