Does it cost anything to download powerpoint onto a PC? My computer did not
come with this software.
 
It is a commercial software so you have to buy the license (including the
medium to install it).

I believe there is a powerpoint viewer available for download or from
those who own the real program. The viewer does not allow creation or
editing of files.
 
BTW

This is the MS Access (the database program) newsgroup. Try a newsgroup
devoted to the Powerpoint program you are using. You should find people
better able to address your problem there than here.
