PowerPoint won't play mp3 files

When I try to insert an mp3 file from a different folder in my PowerPoint it
won't play. Then if I try to insert a song from the "My Music" folder, it
will play it. I've never had this problem before. What can I do.

How long is the full path to the file? That can have an effect.
