after instaling the powerpoint viewer, i start the pps file and when i try to
activate an external exe file, which is located in the same folder of the pps
file, i get the next message:
PowerPoint Viewer could not run the selected program. PowerPoint Viewer does
not support running programs.

How can i run the executable file from the pps file???

You'll need to use the full PowerPoint application. Or, you can create a BAT
file that runs the EXE and then link to the BAT file.

I created a BAT file and it works BUT i get the message from the macro
security saying some files can contain viruses....
How can i set the user's macro security to low, so this message will not
apear???
Note: i already tried changing the registry settings to disable the messages
but did not help.
I tried executing the PPS file from VB and setting the PowerPoint
application with msosecurityLow but did not help.

You can get rid of the message on your system, but not on other people's
systems. So, if you're planning to distribute the presentation there is no way
to prevent the message.
