Powerpoint Viewer and equations

I recently did a presentation in powerpoint on my desktop computer. The
presentation contained equations that were constructed using equation editor.

I want to port the presentation to my laptop which does not have powerpoint
installed. I downloaded the viewer, but the equations look miserable and
incorrect substitutions occur. How can I get the equations to show up
correctly?

I believe equation editor installs it's own fonts and they would need to be
installed on the viewing PC.

I don't use the equation editor but I'm fairly certain its equations need a
special font that's installed with it.

You may need to work out what font that is and be sure it's installed on the
laptop. I think it's MT Extra (its copyright info mentions that it's part of
MathType; equation editor's a junior version of MathType).
