Desparetely mature student seeks to view lectures which
can only be viewed with powerpoint. I downloaded
powerpoint 2003 and it is 'there' on my start menu. When
I click on it, it throws up a window looking for a file
name. What do I put in this slot?

HELP

The name of the PowerPoint file you want to view. something like
presentation_name.pps or presentation_name.ppt

If you are trying to view a presentation (lecture notes) on the web, you
shouldn't have to open the Viewer. Click on the file on the web and see
whether it opens for you. Let us know if you are still having problems.
