Powerpoint upgrade

Will a Powerpoint 2002 Upgrade (available for purchase on
eBay), work on a computer with MS Works 2004? ie will
the older software detect and accept the Works 2004 as
qualifying software to install the upgrade software, or
am I wasting my money on this upgrade as an attempt to
get a full version of Powerpoint cheap?

I think you're wasting your money. Office XP and PowerPoint 2002 do not
list MS Works 2004 as an upgrade qualifier. No surprise there, since MS
Works 2004 didn't exist when Office XP was being marketed.
