Is there any way, without using a third party paid product, to produce a
powerpoint presentation that can be burned onto a CD for use in a DVD player
to watch on a tv?

Thanks

Susan,

The easiest way that I know of without using any third party product other
than powerpoint....

is to open your presentation
file menu
save as
change the filetype from "presentation" to "jpg jpeg" or whatever it reads
these days.
then powerpoint will ask if you want to save just the current slide or all
of them.
choose "all of them"
Then using the cd burning software that came with your cd-writer.
Burn all the JPGs to a blank cd-r

Most home DVD players these days have the ability to play a series of JPGs
as a slideshow. If yours does not your out of luck. You cannot just put a
powerpoint file (ppt) on a blank cd and hope it will play in a home dvd
player.
