powerpoint stops on dual display

i'm having an issue with a powerpoint presentation stopping while using
dual monitors. i set up a system with 2 monitors, and i want to be
able to have the powerpoint presentation constantly run on one without
stopping while the user is working in other programs on the second
monitor. does anybody know if this is possible? right now, when you
try to use another program, it either stops the presentation, or it
kicks you back into the slide editing mode.

any help with this problem will be much appreciated, thanks.

No, you can't do this. PowerPoint (as you noticed) stops when it loses
focus.

allows you to run slide show on a monitor while you continue to work on
something else on the other one.
