PowerPoint slides do not print centered on the page.

Has anyone had this problem before? My slides are not
printing centered on the page. In landscape
orientation, the slide will appear shifted to the left,
with a wide margin on the right. I have a HP deskjet
895Cse and I'm running the most recent drivers. Any
ideas on how to adjust PowerPoint to center my slides.
The only option PowerPoint offers is to set the Height
and Width, however it still doesn't help to center the
slide. I'm using Office 2000 on Win XP.

If you cannot adjust your printer, I have had luck with inserting a shape (rectangle) on the left margin of the slide. You might have to adjust the size of the shape, take any color out of the shape fill, and click on no shape outline. Then I re-center my slide text and images. This adds an additional margin space to the left of the slide and makes the slide look centered when printing.
