PowerPoint Saving Options

You will need to record your presentation using programs such as Camtasia.
Then, convert the movie to MPEG2 file, which is needed for a video DVD.
Next, import the video into a DVD authoring program to create the DVD menu
and setup.
Lastly, burn into the DVD-R/RW.

A number of tutorials can be found here. Check this out:

*Can a powerpoint presentation be saved to DVD and played on TV? *

search google, you will find a great amount of such programs for
conversion.
as for me i'm using presentation to video converter
(http://geovid.com/Presentation_to_Video_Converter). it's easy to use,
converts ppt/pps to avi/asf/wmv/mpeg, has an option "burn cd/dvd" (very
useful if you don't want to convert at first and then to burn, this
converter will do everything IN ONE STEP and you'll just click and then
relax)
there's a free version. it's a full version btw
