Powerpoint layout ?

Hello,
I'd simply like to know if I can change the layouts from portrait to
horizontal for different pages WITHIN a single presentation ?

If for example my main layout is a horizontal structure, can I change
only SOME pages and make those vertical while the rest of the pages
remain horizontal?

If so, how can I do this?

Thank You

Dylan

The short answer is, no. Within each PowerPoint presentation the slide
orientation is fixed.

But, you can show portrait oriented pictures within the framework of a
horizontally oriented slide, so it fosters the question of, why do you need
this? The projector or monitor will not be changing their orientation, will
they? Only the picture, not the slide, will be changing,or so I would
assume. Please let me know where I am mistaken, so I can better understand
your need and suggest a work-around.

This is my problem:
I'm a school teacher presenting a teaching unit about using comic
strips in class.
I've got some pictures (comic strips) that are perfect and readable
when set on a horizontal layout. But I've also got some documents
(with full-page Word A4 portrait layout) that are not too readable if
set in the middle of such a horizontal layout, simply because there is
too much print on the page and the characters are too small to be
readable on a PC screen.
What solution can be adopted here?

Hope You can understand me,
Thank You very much for your help:)

I'm still a little confused. Do you want the students to turn the monitors
on their sides? This would be the only way to view the changed page
orientation, right side up.

Perhaps instead, you might want to break the portrait paper into two images
(page top and page bottom) and show only half the page at a time. This
would allow for larger fonts and better readability, without the need to
move hardware.
