PowerPoint Key Assignments

Is there a way to assign a key to go to a specific slide? For example: I
want to press the "A" button on a certain slide and have PowerPoint go to
slide #12. Can that be done?

I have Office Ultimate 2007

At least, you press 12 then ENTER...Y'll go to slide 12
Or you press both buttons on your mouse for about 2" and go to slide 1
