Powerpoint Graphs

Hi,

I am having the problem with Powerpoint in that I cannot edit any of the
graphs I have created. I understand that this problem has occured before and
have read through the suggestions. I have tried reinstalling powerpoint to no
avail, also removing my anti virus to no avail and updating Office. I have
also tried all the tips of the PC Tools link and have never had Norton
AntiVirus on this computer. Can anybody help?

Yes i get the "Microsoft Power Point can't start the application required to
open this object. An error occured and is no longer functioning properly.
Would you like to repair this function now?" From there if I click 'yes' i
trys to install something, and if I pres 'no' then I get "The server
application, source file, or item can't be found, or returned an unknown
error. You may need to reinstall the server apllication".

Thats what I am gettin each time.

Thanks

So do you get an error message when you try to edit the graphs or what?

Okay, thanks for clarifying.

So I gather you tried some of the stuff at
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00236.htm Which antivirus program are you using?

Also, did you try reregistering MSGraph as described there?
Click Start, click Run and type
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Graph.exe" /regserver
(Include quotes and make sure the path matches your setup.)

Are you up to date with all Office service packs? You can go to Help|Check
for Updates to see.
