I can burn a cd from the media player, so I know that the D: works. I just
don't know how to get the PPT to recognize it to "pack and go" my
presentation. (It is due today, by the way.) Window says "Select drive is
not in use, check to make sure disk is inserted." There is a new, just out
of the wrapper disk inside the D:. Can anybody help?

Do you have two CD/DVD drives in this machine? If so, try putting the CD in
the other. If you're using anything other than Windows XP, you won't be able
to Package to CD directly, as PPT relies on Windows XP's CD burning
capability to do this.

If that's the problem, choose Copy to Folder and then burn the contents of
the folder to your CD using your regular CD burning software. That's
actually the most reliable way to create a CD anyway.
