Powerpoint crashes when closed

I have been using Powerpoint XP 2002 with no problems on my laptop. I decided
to try the 30 day trial of Powerpoint 2007. It worked just fine for a couple
of weeks then a few days ago it started crashing on exit. I get that popup
box that asks if I want to send/don't send an error report and it also has a
check box asking whether or not I want to restart Powerpoint. I ran the
diagnostics and it said I needed to download and install an Epson printer
driver. I did that and the problem did not got away. I ran the diagnostics
again and it said the same thing. I am not sure why it would be asking for an
Epson driver anyway since I have never had an Epson printer hooked up to it
directly or networked. I have run the update also and according to that there
are no available updates. I was going to ask Microsoft directly but they
want $49 for the privelage. I am hoping someone here can at least point me in
the right direction. If it matters my OS is XP Pro.
