Powerpoint at 1366 x 768

Hi

I'm working on a project which requires a powerpoint show (.pps) file to be displayed on a 37" LCD Screen in portrait at a screen resolution of 1366 (vertical) x 768 (horizontal). We're using a graphics card which outputs at this resolution, so there shouldn't be any scaling required

The pps will be created from jpegs (again, sized at 1366 x 768) which we'll import into each slide, and use powerpoint's slide transitions to move between the slides

The question is: what page size should I use in Powerpoint? I need the jpegs to look as crisp as possible, so don't want powerpoint to do any stretching, scaling or resizing

Thanks in advance
Terry

You would want to use a page size that has the same ratio as the
portrait-oriented screen. A page size like 13.66 (height) x 7.68 (width)
should do the job.

Chirag provided the answer, here are a couple of ways you can figure it out
in the future.
1. Using image editing software (ie. photoshop or other). Create a new
document in pixels, to the pixel size you need. Before clicking okay, change
the size option from pixels to inches. done.
2. Download and install RNR's excellent Starter Set PPT add-in. This FREE
toolset provides many useful tools, including a units converter. Just plug
in the size, click convert and you know the answer!
