Yup, Steve's right - PowerPoint 2008 for Mac doesn't support password
protection. You can use the Finder file info pane to set the read and write
permissions for the file, and I believe that this will be valid for Mac
users. But whether that will prevent the file from being opened in
PowerPoint 2007 for Windows, you'd have to try it out and see...
