I am trying to make an object background transparent but cannot. I was able
to do this in Office 2003. I used mostly jpg pictures and then made the
background transparent. Is there a way to do the transparent in Office 2007?
Thanks

Hi,

Right click on the object. Then Format Shape. Add a picture via the "Fill
tab. Click on the "Picture of texture fill" radio button. Then go to the
"File" button to add the picture. Finally, there is a transparency slider at
the bottom of the same tabbed area.

Thanks Mr. Miller, This worked perfectly and gives you many more options with
transparency than the previous version.

Thanks Rae Drysdale, I checked your approach to this and it worked as well.
Your approach seems to have less steps but does not offer as many choices but
both ways have their advantages depending on what you are trying to do.
Thanks again.

Hi,

I must admit, I will never go back to 2003, once I FIND everything in 2007
<vbg>.
