PowerPoint 2007 Fonts

Hi,

I tried to sort through the messages about new fonts in 2007 to figure this
out, but I'm still not quite clear...if I use a font like Calibri (available
in 2007 but not 2003, right?), and I either save it down to a 97-2003 version
OR have the compatability pack installed, this font will appear the way and
should and you can edit and use it like any other font in 2003? Do you have
to embed any of the fonts in 2007 if you either save down or use the c-pack?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Christina,

If one of the following is installed on a computer, the six new fonts
(including Calibri) will be installed on the computer:

- Microsoft Office 2007 or
- Compatibility pack for 2000 - 2003 or
- PowerPoint Viewer 2007
- Windows Vista.

If you downsave to 97-2003 and send your presentation to someone who has
none of the above mentioned four on his computer, you should embed the font
or consider using Arial.

Best regards,
Ute
