Powercolor 9800 non-pro

Hi:

I was thinking about getting a Powercolor 9800 non-pro(not se). It's about
$30 Canadian more expensive then a 9600XT, and you don't get Half-Life 2
with it, but it has 8 pipelines instead of four. Would this be a worthy
upgrade over a Geforce4 Ti4200, and are the Powercolor cards any good? I've
read mixed reviews on the net. Thanks.

9800 is good upgrade for that price. Depends on your whole system whether or
not you see an improvement in games over ti4200. (you would see improvemnts,
if cpu and memory are fast and only gpu was bottelneck). 8pipelines do mean
better performance.
I have heard not many good things about Powercolor cards, especially XT
series of cards. So I won't go with Powercolor. Look for Saphire or Ati.
