Anyone know which pins to jump on a dell SG1 power supply to fire it. I
know it is green and black on a normal atx, but Dell is different. I am
trying to diagnose if the supply is bad or not. Pc will not start. thanks,
Ray

Try grey to black, but if you want to play it safe, use a resistor
rated for approximately 300 ohms (even 1,000 ohms will almost always
work) instead of a jumper wire because then it'll be impossible to
damage the power supply, regardless of which lines are connected.

Try connecting the grey and black wires together, but if you want to
play it safe, use a resistor of approximately 300 ohms (even 1,000
ohms will almost always work) instead of a jumper wire because then
it'll be impossible to cause any damage, regardless of which lines are
connected.

Thanks for the advice, will give it a try. There are numerous black wires,
I assume any will work?? The gray is in pin one position. thanks, Ray
