Power supply with dust guard ?

Hello,

Chieftec's dust guard makes me jump up and down of joy.

Unfortunately this is only suited for the side case fans.

What would realllly make me happy is a power supply with such a dust guard
?!?!?!

If all the openings of the pc are "guarded" with such a dust guard then
hopefully dust will no longer enter my pc and **** up my fans. Because my
fans are always fullll with dust <- that's bad for noise and such !

I am planning on buying the Seasonic S12 and it has big wholes so lot's of
room for dust to creap in... oh well...

So I would looovveee to see a Seasonic S12 power supply with such a dust
guard ! That would be great ! =D I think at least... Unless ofcourse the
heat can't escape.

Well I haven't tried dust guard yet but it sure sounds delicious... ;)

Bye,
Skybuck.

I buy a replacement air conditioner filter and cut it into pieces as
needed. A bit of duct tape holds it in place. generally I put it on
the intake of the fan on the front of the PC, and it's hidden by the
from panel.

I don't think it would be useful on a PSU, as they by design are meant to
blow things out..

It's not always on though, so when it's shutdown the dust can simply
enter I guess.

Bye,
Skybuck.
