Power Schemes not putting monitor to stand-by ?

Hi All,

I have my power scheme set to switch my monitor to stand-by
after 20 mins of inactivity, however for the last few months this
has been happening, my monitor just stays on ?
Is there any way of getting this little option working again,
or could i make a button on my desk top that would put it
to stand-by but obviously wake up on moving the mouse etc ??

I know you can create other such buttons for shutting windows
down etc ....

Have you tried updating the driver for your video card? What about your
motherboard's BIOS.

Ok, i'll give that a go, they are the original nVidia drivers from
about 12months ago.
