power point web frames?

I am running office 2000, there is a web page generator
in power point, I used a template to create a web page then put
the page on my isp server. When i went to look at the page i got
an error message that my browser does not support "frames".
I am using MS Expl. 6. something. What are frames and why
cant I publish a powerpoint web page?
