Power Point Viewer

We have created a Power Point presentation that includes
a video. The video runs well when reviewing it on power
point. But, when viewing it through Power Point Viewer,
the videos do not run. Is there a solution to getting
the videos to run on a power point viewer. This
presentation needs to be viewer by some very low end
users.

Video is not easy, but the Viewer should behave the same as PowerPoint if it's
on the same system. Are you running the Viewer test on the same system?
PowerPoint and the Viewer actually pass the video off to Windows for playing, so
if it's on a different system, chances are that Windows is missing something.

Some questions:
1. What version of PowerPoint was used to create the presentation?
2. What version of the Viewer are you using?
3. What version of Windows are you running it on?
4. What version of Windows Media Player is installed?
5. What is the file type of your video?

Read through http://www.soniacoleman.com/Tutorials/PowerPoint/multimedia.htm for
information on how PowerPoint handles multimedia.
