Power Point Viewer 2003 running programs problem

Hi
I made a presentation in Power Point 2003.
It contains elements that can only be displayed in PP 2003 and XP
so I used Power Point Viewer 2003 to run my presentation on computers
that do not have Power Point installed.
All presentation goes fine but...
I am not able to run programs (links).

From Readme:
"The PowerPoint Viewer does not support running macros, programs, or opening
linked or embedded objects."

In PP Viewer 97 that kind of problem do not exist, but I can not use it with
my presentation.
Is there any workaround of this problem?
How can I run linked programs with PPV 2003?

Try creating a BAT file that runs the program and then in your presentation
use Action Settings > Hyperlink to > Other file to create a link to the BAT
file.
Here's an example:

PowerPoint Viewer 2003 doesn't provide the functionality that you are
looking

for (support Action Settings to Run programs).

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it's important that
PowerPoint Viewer provide this kind of functionality, don't forget to send
your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft by either:

A) If you are using Microsoft's web-based, online newsreader for Office
communities (http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx),
click on the "New" drop-down menu and choose "Suggestion for Microsoft"
from directly within the newsreader web page.

B) If you are using another newsreader (such as Microsoft Outlook Express),
submit your suggestion using your web browser at the following address:
http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

It's VERY important that, for EACH wish, you describe in detail, WHY it is
important TO YOU that your product suggestion be implemented. A good wish
submssion includes WHAT scenario, work-flow, or end-result is blocked by
