Power Point to DVD

I have a Power point presentation and I also have a DVD burner. Can I just
burn the files to the DVD and it will play at home on DVD player? Do I need
to save as a different file extention or what?

You will need to record your presentation using programs such as Camtasia.
Next, convert the movie to MPEG2 file, which is needed for a
video DVD.
Import the video into a DVD authoring program to create
the DVD menu and setup.
And finally, burn into the DVD-R/RW.
